Birgunj records two more COVID-19 related deaths

An 84-year-old COVID-19 patient of Birgunj Metropolitan City (BMC)-4 died on Tuesday night at 10:30 pm receiving treatment at Gandak Temporary COVID-19 Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on August 11, said Dr. Udayanarayan Singh, coordinator of the temporary hospital. He was also suffering from pneumonia.

Three COVID-19 related deaths have been confirmed in Hetauda and Dharan today. Two persons of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City, who died in the last 24 hours, were found to have been infected with the novel coronavirus.

Two killed, 17 missing after being swept away by river

Two persons died and 17 have gone missing after being swept away by local Kailash river at Ramaroshan rural municipality-5 in Achham district. Thirty shops in the area have been washed away by the river, said the police.

Two coronavirus infected persons die in Pokhara  

Two coronavirus infected persons died in course of treatment in Pokhara. They are from Kaski and Tanahun districts.       A person of around 87 years of Pokhara Metropolitan City died in course of treatment at Western Regional Hospital under Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences at 10:40 this morning, said Director at the Academy, Dr Arjun Acharya.
