The 40-km track opened under the ongoing Darchula-Tinkar roadway has been damaged at several places with the landslides triggered by the rainfall. Consequently, people's movement along the track has been obstructed for one and half month.

11 succumb to COVID-19, death toll hits 137

COVID-19 patient dies 

A person suffering from COVID-19 has died in Pyuthan. He is 64-year-old man from Sworgadwari municipality-7 in Pyuthan district. He died at the Corona Special Hospital at Butwal in course of treatment today, Health Office Pyuthan's information officer and COVID-19 focal person, Pushkal Shrestha, said. 

  Woman held with 9-kg hashish from Balambu  

Police arrested a woman along with 9.35-kg hashish on Thursday. A police team deputed from Metropolitan Police Circle Thankot held Pabitra Thing, 22, of Gajuri rural municipality-8, Dhading from Chandragiri municipality-12, Balambu.    

Bharatpur hospital records one more death related to coronavirus infection   

One more coronavirus related death was recorded at Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan. The deceased has been identified as a 65-year-old man from Ratnanagar municipality-13, the hospital sources said.    

Power supply disrupted in four hilly districts
