Chautara, Aug 22 : The number of people killed in the landslide at Lidi of Jugal rural municipality-2 in Sindhupalchowk on August 14 district has reached 32.
The bodies of Sanokanchhi Dong, 35, and her daughter, 4, were retrieved today and with this, the death toll from the disaster has reached 32, according to Area Police Office Jalbire’s police inspector Hari Bhattarai.
The Nepal Army, Nepal Police and the Armed Police Personnel are working jointly to trace the missing ones. The landslide had damaged 37 houses.
