Sindhupalchowk, Aug 20 : Three additional dead bodies were recovered from the debris of the landslide occurred in Jugal rural municipality-2, Lidi on Friday morning.
Earlier, 25 dead bodies have been already recovered while 11 are still at large in the massive landslide. As many as 39 people went missing in the disaster.
Police Inspector of the Area Police Office Jalbire Hari Bhattarai shared that dead body of a child and two women were recovered this morning.
They were identified as five-year-old Sanukanchha Dong and Jibirani Dong, 42, and Lalita Dong, 18.
With this, the death toll from the disaster has reached 28.
Among the dead bodies identified so far, 15 are male and 13 are female. Fourteen among the identified are children.
Nepal Army, Nepal Police and locals have intensified the search for the missing, Chief District Officer Umesh Kumar Dhakal said.
