Int'l film festival from Feb 13   

The third Nepal International Film Festival is being held in Kathmandu from February 13 to 18. A total of 79 films would be screened in the film festival to be organized by Nepal Film and Cultural Academy.

Woman delivers quadruplets

A woman has given birth to quadruplets at Manipal Hospital in Pokhara. Twenty-six years old Sunita Pradhan Poudel of Putalibazar municipality-1, Syangja delivered four babies through a Caesarean section at 9 this morning, the Hospital stated. A team of doctors led by Dr Mahendra Pandey conducted the C-section on Poudel.

Tanker knocks down pedestrian

APF set up border outpost in Kimathanka   

Armed Police Force (APF) has established a border outpost (BOP) at Kimathanka checkpoint in Bhotkhola rural municipality-1.     APF sources said this was so far the first armed police post along the northern border. Brigadier chief of APF Eastern Region Headquarters Nagendra Bahadur Thapa and Chief District Officer Jeewan Dulal jointly inaugurated the police post on Wednesday.

Police opens fire to arrest gangster Lama
