By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Jan. 16: Bhaktapur District Administration Office has written to Metropolitan Police Circle Bhaktapur to arrest B and C Medical College owner Durga Prasai over defamation case.
Assistant Chief District Officer of the Bhaktapur District, Dilip Prasad Lamichhane, informed that the DAO wrote to the police on the basis of complaint filed by Dr. Shrikrishna Giri, vice-chairman of Medical Education Commission, against Prasai for indecent practice, defamation and insult.
Holding a press meet a week back, Prasai had accused Dr. Giri of asking him for bribe of Rs. 200 million. Dr. Giri has been rejecting the blame and challenging to prove the accusation.
