By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu Jan. 16: Princess Astrid, the younger sister of the King of Belgian, is visiting Nepal on 19-25 January this year.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) informed that during her stay she is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
She will have separate meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwar Pokhrel, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and Minister for Health and Population Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal.
According to MoFA, Princess Astrid will also be visiting Kailai, Nawalparasi and Chitwan districts.
In Kailali, she will join the opening ceremony of a new Tuberculosis Centre and meet with the leprosy and tuberculosis affected people.
She will visit the Midpoint Hospital at Nawalparasi, which is a provincial reference center for MDR tuberculosis and leprosy.
