Phulpingkatti landslide repeat increases fear   

Landslide has occurred two times at Phulpingkatti of Bhotekoshi rural municipality-4 last night.     A local, Buddhi Gurung, said the people in the area are in fear after the occurrence of multiple landslides on Thursday night. Two people were killed and three others from the same family had gone missing in the landslide occurred on Thursday.    

Landslide leaves three people dead in Kaski

Those killed in the landslide are Nimasyangbo Sherpa, 34, and Anji Sherpa, 16, according to District Police Office. Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Kafle informed that search for the missing ones- Somsang Sherpa, 84; a woman of 42 years and Chhiring Sherpa, 12, was continuous.  

  Identity of people missing in Phulping landslide revealed 

Identity of five persons those missing in a landslide occurred at Phulpingkatti village of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-4 in Sindhupalchowk has been revealed.     Chairman of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality Raj Kumar Poudel said that Yangji Sherpa, 16, Tshiring Bagu Sherpa, 14, Sum Butti Sherpa, 75, Sangbu Sherpa, 35, and Semang Sherpa, 40, of a single family are missing in the landslide happened last night following the heavy rainfall.

  Five missing in Phulping landslides  

Five persons have gone missing in a landslide occurred at Phulpingkatti village of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-4 in Sindhupalchowk.     The landslide triggered last mid night with heavy rainfall also swept away two houses in the village, Vice Chairperson of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality Dabuti Sherpa said.    

Cement factory kicks 70 workers out of job during lockdown

Harishchandra Rana, a labourer, who got removed from the job, said that some 70 workers of the factory were dismissed from the job. "Despite an agreement reached in course of setting up the factory here that priority would be given to locals for employment in the factory, all the dismissed workers are locals," said Rana.
