Medical stuffs donated to Tokha Municipality

Nansu Municipality of People’s Republic of China has donated medical stuffs to Tokha Municipality in Kathmandu.     The medical stuffs were provided to help fight against the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal.

Police has arrested central leader of the banned Netra Bikram Chand outfit, Lekhraj Gajmer. He was taken into control by plainclothes police from Dhulikhel on Wednesday soon after his release from custody at the District Police Office Dhulikhel. A 24-year-old pregnant woman of Kanchanroop Municipality-11 in Saptari district died today in a home quarantine.     According to her family source, she died this morning as preparations were on to take her to Rajbiraj for treatment after she suffered from high fever and respiratory problem from Sunday night.

Drug peddler killed in clash with police  

A person died in the clash between drug traffickers and police at Sahasaul, Ramgopalpur municipality-7 in Mahottari district last night. The deceased is 16-year-old Rajan, the son of Surendra Yadav of the same locality, Superintendent of Police, Shyam Krishna Adhikari, said.    

State-1 categorises three types of COVID-19 risk zones   

 State-1 has categorised three types of risk zones of COVID-19 in the state. In a recent state level Crisis Management Center (CMC) meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai has decided to do so. Three risk zones have been named as high risk zone, risk zone and normal zones respectively on Friday meeting.

Two die from electric shock in separate accidents  

Kailai today reported the death of a 33-year-old from the electric shock. The deceased has been identified as Jawarsingh Chaudhary of Ghodadhadi Municipality-10. He suffered the tragedy due to short-circuit at his rented house at Chaudhari Gauriganga Municipality-1. He was a worker at a local brick kiln, police said.
