Kathmandu, May 28 : Nansu Municipality of People’s Republic of China has donated medical stuffs to Tokha Municipality in Kathmandu.
The medical stuffs were provided to help fight against the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal.
The medical stuffs cost over Rs 16 million were provided to the Municipality. The stuffs compromises 5,000 pieces of medical masks; 20,000 pieces of non-medical masks; 3,000 sets of personal protective equipments (PPE), 3,000 glasses and gloves, sanitizers and shoes among others, said Tokha Municipality sources .
Tokha Municipality Mayor Prakash Adhikari shared that the medical stuffs would help fight against COVID-19 outbreak in their area.
The both cities had forged sister-city relations last year.
