Discount in electricity tariff, concession for aviation, construction industry

"Electricity consumption up to one unit would be free of cost, discount up to 25 per cent would be provided for consumption up to 150 unit and 15 per cent discount would be provided for consumption up to 250 unit," said Dr Yubraraj Khatiwada while presenting the budget for Fiscal Year 2020/21 before the joint session at Federal Parliament today.

Remuneration fund worth Rs. 50 billion established for SME workers affected by COVID-19

Finance Minister Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada, while presenting budget for upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2020/21 said, "Loan amount at five per cent interest rate would be provided for industries affected by COVID-19 until they get back to normalcy. The amount should be used in providing wage to the workers."

Rs. 90 billion allocated for public health system

Presenting the budget for FY 2020/21 at the joint session of the Federal Parliament today, FM Dr Khatiwada said, "A total budget of Rs. 6 billion has been allocated for health equipment, medicines and health services required for prevention and treatment of COVID-19."

Rukum incident: FIR filed against 20, 12 arrested

Saroj Guragain, Chief District Officer of Siraha, informed that SP Chaturvedi's driver and bodyguard had tested positive for COVID-19. Both of them have been kept in isolation at Siraha District Hospital.

Four COVID-19 patients discharged from Koshi Hospital after recovery
