Fire kills couple   

Both husband and wife in a family died in a fire occurred at Segle Lamjung Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-9 in the district last night. The victims were 56-year-old Dharma Raj Bhandari and his spouse Pashupati Bhandari, 45.

Nepali woman migrant worker dies in Kuwait  

A 42-year-old woman migrant from Parbat district has died in Kuwait on August 24, according to the Embassy of Nepal in Kuwait. Putali Pariyar of Kushma Municipality-11 in Parbat district had reached Kuwait for overseas employment some years ago. The reason behind her death is not ascertained so far.    

Installation of new traffic lights begins in Capital

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and chief for the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division Janak Bhattarai said that the new traffic lights would be installed near Sahid Gangalal Heart Centre, Lazimpat, Keshar Mahal, Durbar Marg, in front of Trichandra College, Teku, Thapathali, Babarmahal, in front of Civil Hospital, Tinkune, Koteshwor, and Jadibuti.

JB Tuhure passes away at 78
