Landslide causes damage to school  

Landslide triggered by incessant rain has caused damages to a two-room building of Unique Primary School in Kathekhola rural municipality-3, Dhamja. The landslide occurred on Saturday damaged the earthquake-resilient building that was constructed through the then District Education Office in 2071 BS.    

One dead, 10 hurt in Sankhuwasabha accident   

A person was killed and ten others were injured in a truck accident occurred at Chichila rural municipality-1 in Sankhuwasabha district last night.    

Exploring a new route to Eklesal 

An alternative route to the road connecting the south of Baglung is being sought, as there is no possibility of repairing the road damaged by the landslide even after spending millions. A new road is being explored at Baglung Municipality-10 Eklesal under the Baglung-Kushmishera road.

One person died and three others are critically injured when a Hiece microbus met with an accident at Shitganga Municipality - 3, Barbot of Arghakhanchi district on Saturday morning. Microbus (Ba 3 Kha 8639) was heading towards district headquarter Sandhikharkha from Kathmandu.

Man rescued from India after 33 years

Nepal Police rescued Lokun Dangora Tharu, 62, of Tikaligadh of Janaki Rural Municipality-7 in Kailali district, from India and reunited him with his family. 

Four arrested along with 'Yarsagumba'  

Nepal Police's Metropolitan Crime Control Division has arrested four persons along with the valuable 'Yarsagumba' (caterpillar fungus) worth around Rs 8 million. Yarsagumba weighing 1.85 kilogrammes was confiscated from them. The scientific name of Yarsagumba is Cordyceps Sinensis.
