Sarlahi schools to reopen

As per the recommendation made by the meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre (DCCMC) held at the district headquarters Malangwa, the office has given permission to run the school in rotation and they have to ensure that the number of students does not exceed 33 per cent of the total.

NRNA UK urges GoN to help address Ex-British Gurkhas’ demand

The NRNs in the UK have sought a long-term solution to this matter. NRNA UK President Prem Gaha Magar met with Nepal’s Ambassador to the UK, Lokdarshan Regmi, and handed the memorandum. “We have taken the August 16 Council of Minister’s decision to take diplomatic efforts for resolving the issue positively. But, we appeal to the Government of Nepal to come up with a substantive plan for a long-term solution to the issue,” the memo states.
