Palpa, Aug 30 : The Palpa-Butwal road section under the Siddhartha Highway has been blocked by a landslide at Tallo Dumre in Tansen Municipality-8 in Palpa district.
The landslip occurred on Sunday morning. Efforts to clear debris have been affected due to heavy rains, said Rameshwor Twati, information officer at the district police office. A dozer has been mobilised to clear the debris.
As rain has stopped today morning, the landslide deposition would likely be removed until today noon allowing stuck traffic, he said.
