State 2: Over 2,000 samples collected for test for coronavirus 

Swab samples have been collected from 2,121 people so far for testing for coronavirus as per the PCR method as part of the prevention of COVID-19 campaign in State-2. This includes 831 samples collected in the last three days for this purpose. Swab samples were collected from 1,290 until Saturday.

Over 10,400 PCR tests conducted so far 

A total 53 thousand 534 people have been tested for coronavirus infection so far. Among them, 10 thousand 471 have been tested employing the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method while 43 thousand 63 people have been tested through the rapid diagnostic test (RDT), the Ministry of Health and Population stated.

Three hundred people stranded in lockdown rescued
