Driver buried in landslide dies  

A driver who was injured after being buried in a landslide while driving a jeep at Ghurkot rural municipality-3 has died. Seriously injured in the incident, Pradip Pun of the same locality died during treatment at Sandhikharka hospital on Saturday.    

COVID-19: 16 new cases in Gandaki today 

Sixteen new cases of Corona Virus have been confirmed in Gandaki State today. According to the morning bulletin by the State Health Directorate, of them nine after from Baglung, four from Myagdi, two from Parbat and one from Tanahu.    

Eight new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Kathmandu Valley in last 24 hours

Seven women in Bhaktapur and one woman in Kathmandu were found infected with the virus in the last 24 hours, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry at the daily press briefing today. Earlier, on June 15, MoHP had confirmed five new cases while six new cases were reported on June 18 in Valley.

NRNA Korea chapter provides PCR kits to Sudurpaschim State 

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) South Korea chapter has provided PRC kits for the Sudurpaschim State. NRNA Korea Chapter's executive director Rajesh Rana today handed 2,500 kits to Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies who also represents Kailali, the district in the State, in the House of Representatives.    

Investment Board accepts Rs 185 billion for seven projects  

Investment Board has accepted seven projects equivalent to Rs 185.43 billion. The Board's 44th meeting held on Friday accepted the investment for five hydropowers and two related to cement industries. The meeting was held under the chair of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The Dadeldhura district headquarters has been sealed off for an indefinite period after the rate of Corona Virus infection continued to rise exponentially.

Landslide debris cleared in Narayangadh-Muglin road 

The Narayangadh-Muglin road has been cleared for traffic since Friday evening. Regular traffic resumed after three days since a landslide blocked the road on Wednesday morning.

The Constitution of Nepal (Second Amendment), 2077 BS' has been published in the Nepal Gazette. President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Thursday authenticated the proposal to amend the constitution after its unopposed approval by both houses of the federal parliament.

Woman who died from COVID-19 cremated with due respect

The woman had tested positive for COVID-19. Her body was buried on Thursday at the jungle near Dhakeri of Banke. On the occasion, Chief District Officer of Banke, Ram Bahadur Kurumbang and chief of Bhairab Prasad Battalion of Nepali Army, Nakul Thapa, were present.
