By Tilachan Pandey, Tamghas, June 19: A 69-year old man of Chatrakot Rural Municipality-5, Gulmi, died on Thursday night while staying in home quarantine.
He had been in home quarantine from June 7 after returning from India, informed Rajendra Singh Khadka, Superintendent of Police, Gulmi.
Pashupati Acharya, information officer of Gulmi District Health Office said, “He had tested positive for the virus in Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) done on Thursday. His swab sample has been sent to Rupandehi State Laboratory for Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.”
The deceased was a paralysis patient and he had been to India for treatment.
Bharat Kumar Sharma, Chief District Officer of Gulmi, said that the person's body was buried by Nepali Army and Nepal Police in family’s consent.
