The Crimson Hospital at Manigram Butwal has been sealed off. The hospital was sealed today after a patient undergoing treatment there tested positive to COVID-19.    

200 beds being added in Banke's isolation ward

The meeting of district level COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre held under chairmanship of Chief District Officer Kumar Bahadur Khadka and in presence of minister Baral and local level heads, has decided to add 200 more beds in isolation wards of the district.

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 53 new cases of virus taking the national tally to 357.

MoHP confirms nine new COVID-19 cases, national tally reaches 304

Seven men aged 21, 21, 23, 25, 25, 29 and 30 Ishnath Municipality-2, 3, 6 and 9, 28-year old female of Madhavnarayan Municipality-3, Rautahat and  35-year old male of Karaiyamai-5 of Bara tested positive for the virus in PCR test done at National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) ,informed the ministry by issuing a press statement.

Twenty nine journalists test negative for coronavirus   

Twenty nine journalists based in Bhaktapur have tested negative for COVID-19. The swab samples were collected from them on Friday and subjected to the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test at the laboratory operated by Nepal-Korea Friendship Hospital.
