One killed in road accident

A person has died in a road accident at Ratomate in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan Ward No. 15 on the East-West Highway today. The deceased has been identified as Shiva Prasad Subedi, 37, of Bakaya Rural Municipality Ward No. 7, according to Inspector at the District Police Office, Makwanpur, Devendra Das.

Hospital employees found involved in producing fake PCR reports

Police has found employees of some hospitals involved in producing fake PCR test report without carrying out swab tests. The Metropolitan Crime Control Division said that employees of Nagarik Community Teaching Hospital Ltd at Kaushaltar, Madhyapur Thimi in Bhaktapur and Kantipur Hospital Pvt Ltd at Tinkune, Kathmandu were found involved in the illicit activities.

Most of slaughterhouses in Bhaktapur Municipality violate standards

During a monitoring conducted by the Bhaktapur Municipality today, most of slaughter houses were found to be dirty and thus supplying unhygienic meat. Abattoirs at Hanumanghat, Maheshwori areas were monitored, said Municipality's market monitoring coordinator Raj Krishna Gora.

Government gives seven days ultimatum to casino companies to clear arrears

It has also warned of taking action against them if they fail to clear the arrears. The seven casino companies including Hotel Yak and Yeti Pvt Ltd, Oriental Hotels Limited, Happy Hour, Rock International and Central Media Pvt Ltd have to clear arrears amounting to over Rs 871 million remained of their royalty and renewal fees until the fiscal year of 2020/21, it has been said.
