Kathmandu, Feb. 2: A meeting of the Central Security Committee chaired by Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand discussed about the proposed security management and preparations for the local level election.
Home Ministry Spokesperson Fanindra Mani Pokharel shared that the meeting discussed about the security management and current security situation in the local level election proposed by the Election Commission for May 19.
During the meeting, Lieutenant General Bal Krishna Karki of the Nepal Army, Inspector General of Nepal Police Shailesh Thapa, Inspector General of the Armed Police Force Shailendra Khanal and Chief Investigation Director of the National Investigation Department Yadulal Kharel expressed their views on the security tools and arrangements required for the election.
