Kathmandu, Feb 2: Those children between 17-18 age group have demanded that they be administered COVID-19 vaccine. Now, the government has launched a COVID-19 vaccination drive for the 12-17 age group.
Those between 12-17 age group who missed the vaccination campaign that was started since 29 January by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) at the direction of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology have been availing the facility.
Efforts are underway to provide the vaccine to the children between 17-18 age group as per their demand, said Ram Prasad Subedi, education officer at the KMC.
According to available data, the KMC has around 6,000 children between 17-18 age group.
