COVID-19 patient dies   

A coronavirus infected person being treated at the Corona Special Hospital under Lumbini Provincial Hospital Butwal died today. The 78-year-old male from Butwal Sub-metropolitan City-8, died at 9 am today, Hospital's Information Officer Dr Bishnu Gautam said through a press release.    

Two arrested on charge of gang rape   

Police on Thursday have arrested two persons for allegedly involved in a gang rape case. A team of the Metropolitan City Police Circle Thankot held Lokendra Bahadur Malla, 28, who is originally from Mugu and is currently residing in Chandragiri and Ratan Bahadur Shahi, 23, of Mugu on charge of raping a 19-year-old girl at Chandragiri municipality-1, Dahachowk.

49 scrub typhus patients recorded in a month
