The armed police force has been increasing the number of border outposts as the infection of COVID-19 increases in State no. 2.

Two killed in bike accident in Siraha   

Two persons were killed in a road accident at Naraha rural municipality along the Siraha-Chauharwa road section. The accident took place when a motorbike heading to Siraha from Chauharwa hit a stationary tractor (Ja 1 Ta 4329).    

     Tokha municipality shut after employees contract coronavirus 

Tokha municipality office will remain closed for a week after its employees contracted coronavirus.     Following the diagnosis of coronavirus infection on its employee recently, the municipality is closing its operation from 6-11 September.    

     One more week of prohibitory order in Kaski 

The District Administration Office has extended the prohibitory in the district by one more week, considering the increasing rate of corona virus infection. With the new decision, prohibitory order will remain effect in the district until September 12.   

Two more Corona infected die in Rupandehi 

Two more people have died of Corona virus in the Butwal Corona Special Hospital. A 37-year-old woman of Pratapur rural municipality, Nawalparasi died at 6:00 am this morning while a 40-year-old man of Butwal-11 died last night, according to information officer of the Lumbini provincial hospital, Dr Bishnu Gautam.    

  Crush industries found running against rules

The Gandaki state assembly finance and development committee has found that the crusher industries in the state were running by flouting the rules that govern them. Accordingly, it has decided to hold the concerned authorities accountable for the same.   

Farmers walk for hours, queue for hours but in vain 

Sita Thapa, a farmer of Tanahusur in ward no. 11 of Byas municipality walked to Damauli early in the morning as there was no public transportation available due to the lockdown. She was in the queue at 8:00 am on Friday for buying fertilizers, but at 4:30 pm she was told that the depot was closing and that she should come back the next the day.
