Hoteliers want to resume business by taking safety measures   

Federation of Hotel Entrepreneurs has demanded that hoteliers should be allowed to get back to business by taking safety measures. In a press statement Tuesday, the Federation said hotel business had been down with the nationwide lockdown imposed by the government owing to risk of COVID-19 infection and the business should be allowed to reopen by implementing safety measures in the present circumstances.    

13 absconding convicts arrested this year   

The District Police Office, Tanahun has arrested 13 absconding convicts in the past one year.     As of 13 June 2020, police busted 13 persons we have been absconding after being convicted in different crimes.    

APF continues to check border entrants and take to quarantines

Community schools' teachers contribute Rs 1.5 million to relief fund  

Teachers from community schools in Waling have contributed to the relief fund set up by Waling municipality     Teachers from 80 community schools and technical school on Tuesday handed over a cheque amounting to over Rs 1.53 million to Waling mayor Dilip Pratap Khand and deputy mayor Kalpana Tiwari to deposit the amount to the municipality-instituted fund. 

Public Service Commission Bill passed

Responding to queries raised on the bill, Minister Tumbahangphe said that the bill will ensure fair and transparent recruitment process for the civil servants, including in the army and police service and wipe out discrimination in the service. It is intended to make the federal civil service healthy, impartial and efficient.
