Sudurpaschim folks returning home in droves due to surge in Coronavirus in India   

A large number of people from the Sudurpaschim (far west) region have started returning back to their home abandoning work in India following a surge in Coronavirus cases there.

Rural Municipality closes service for six days fearing spread of coronavirus 

Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality here has closed its services for six days in the wake of rising spread of coronavirus of late. All services provided from the rural municipality office have been halted from March 26 to 31, according to Chairperson Karna Bahadur Gurung.    

Cardamom farmers attracted towards mechanization   

     Coordinator of Cardamom Bloc Operators' Committee, Jivan Bhandari, has informed that the farmers were adopting both the traditional skills and new technology to reap utmost benefit from the cardamom plantation.

CM Raut directs for infrastructures building

Two held with fake notes   

Police have arrested two persons along with fake currency notes and a printer to produce the notes. The arrested ones are 35-year-old Gan Bahadur Lopchan, 35, from Rautahat and Maya Tamang, 39, from Makwanpur.
