By Mahima Devkota, Kathmandu, Aug 5: The National Ayurveda Research and Training Center (NARTC), Kirtipur, which has been designated to provide electronic vaccination certificates with QR codes to people travelling aboard, has begun the service from today.
Dr Jitendra Shrestha, Spokesperson at the National Ayurveda Research and Training Center, Kirtipur, said “We aim to give around 1000 electronic vaccination certificates with QR codes today.”
He added that the original vaccination card, passport, one passport size photo and one photocopy of the vaccination card, needs to be submitted to attain the service. Those travelling abroad within three days must submit photocopies of tickets and visas as well.
"Those who are unable to register online, can do so by visiting the National Ayurveda Research and Training Center, Kirtipur on August 5 (today) and 6 (tomorrow) from 10 am to 4 pm," he added.
The Department of Health Services has started providing the electronic vaccination certificate with QR code and one can fill the online form by going to https://vaccine.mohp.gov.np/public-request-form.
