By Mahima Devkota, Kathmandu, June 23: As many as 2,500 elderlies from Lalitpur Metropolitan City will receive their second jabs of covidshield vaccine today.
Of them, 2,220 elderlies above 77 years and 280 people’s representatives, employees, and health volunteers of the concerned ward are receiving their booster 10 am to 4 pm today.
Raju Maharjan, Spokesperson at the Lalitpur Metropolitan City, said that eight centers are allocated for the purpose.
“All the aged people over 77 years can receive their booster from Veterinary Hospital, Lagankhel, Patan High School, Metropolitan Premises, Dhapakhel Health Clinic Pvt. Ltd, Bal Kumari Secondary School, Sunakothi, Karyabinayak School under Bungmati Area, Harisiddhi Health Post, and Saibu Health Post and they must bring vaccine card of first dose and documents proving the age as stated in the notification,” said Spokesperson Maharjan.
