By Mahima Devkota, Kathmandu, June 25: The government is all set to administer the second dose of China-made Vero Cell vaccine against COVID-19, for the people age 60 to 64 from July 6.
According to Dr Jhalak Sharma Gautam, chief of the National Immunisation Department, 3 lakh 70 thousand people who had received their first jabs on a weeklong vaccination campaign from June, 8 will get their 2nd dose vaccine from July 6.
Dr Gautam said that those people who missed out on their booster dose of the Vero Cell vaccine on previous vaccination campaigns can take their second dose vaccine during the 2nd dose vaccination campaign.
He added that one must bring the vaccination card of the first dose to receive 2nd dose vaccine from any allocated vaccination centres.
