Youth entrepreneurs in Dang district have provided safety gear to police persons in a bid to avoid COVID-19. Entrepreneur Bal Kumar Ghartimagar and NCP district secretariat member Manohar Budhathoki provided masks and gloves to the chief of District Police Office, Janak Bhattarai, today.

Youth held for sexual assault  

Police have arrested a youth on the charge of sexual assault on a girl in Kohalpur. Aakash Malla, 20, of Kohalpur-11 was held on Wednesday on the charge of raping the girl after her family reported the incident to the police on Monday, Ilaka Police Office chief, Deputy Superintendent Kuldeep Chand, said. 

COVID-19: 103 throat swab samples test negative for coronavirus in State-1   

One hundred and three throat swab samples have tested negative for coronavirus in State-1 as of Wednesday evening. Samples were collected from 145 people and sent for testing at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.
