New government to be formed in Lumbini Province 

The alliance of parties comprising Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre), Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and Rastriya Janamorcha is going to stake its claim before Province Chief for the same.

Congress Central Committee meeting today  

The ruling Nepali Congress has called a meeting of the party's central working committee at 2:00 pm today. According to NC office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel, the schedule of the party's 14th general convention and election guideline will be presented at the meeting.    

Kailali harbours 23 per cent of total bird species of Nepal

Nifra to invest Rs. 675m in ‘Sky Walk Towers’

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (Nifra) has signed a loan agreement with Wonders Group for the construction of ‘Sky Walk Tower’ in Bhedetar of Dhankuta in Province 1 and Kamaladi of Kathmandu. Nifra has decided to make a loan investment to the country’s first of its kind projects to promote investment in the tourism sector which is the hardest-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Senior citizens get booster dose of COVID vaccine

The second dose of vaccine for citizens aged above 65 years with AstraZeneca vaccine has started from Monday. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), initially the campaign will be conducted at vaccination sites in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces followed by Provinces 1 and 2.
