Manang, Mustang first to vaccinate all aged 18 and above

Vaccines against COVID-19 have been provided to everyone aged above 18 years in Manang, thereby becoming the first fully vaccinated district. Badri Acharya, chief of Manang Health Office, said that vaccines against the novel coronavirus were provided to all 4,198 people of that age group, leaving virus-infected patients and pregnant women, in the district. As the district across the mountain was hit hard by the rain-induced disasters this year, the vaccines were sent to Manang via helicopter.

MoHP reports 2,975 new cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours, infection rate at 26.2%

In 11,354 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 2,975 persons were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, assistant spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population in the weekly press briefing.
