The government Wednesday decided to facilitate the foreign nationals stranded in Nepal due to the travel restriction enforced by the government to contain the Coronavirus (Covid-19) to return to their countries.

Government to set up quarantines to house 130,000 people

To control the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the government has intensified a task to set up quarantine throughout the country with the capacity of 130,000 beds. The government has already forwarded work to identify locations to set up 5,000 quarantines in the Kathmandu Valley.

House of Representatives meeting scheduled for April 5  

The House of Representatives will convene at 1.0pm on April 5. The meeing of the Lower House of the Federal Parliament was earlier scheduled for 1.0 pm on March 26 and it has been postponed to April 5 due to the risk of coronavirus infection, the Federal Parliament Secretariat said.

Yadav who died at Corona Hospital tested negative for COVID-19

Santosh Yadav, who died at Bharatpur-based Corona Special Hospital on Tuesday, has tested negative for coronavirus infection. The test of his samples is found to be negative according to the lab report.

Police make lockdown a success
