Kathmandu, Mar. 24: The Ministry of Health and Population has established the media centre to disseminate news related to the COVID-19 through a one-door policy.
Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal’s advisor Dr Khem Karki said that the media centre was established at the ministry in order to disseminate news to the media outlets from a one-door policy.
Press conference would be organised at the media centre everyday to give information about COVID-19 as per the need and information would be disseminated through the social networking sites. It would be easier for media persons to get information about the disease as doctors related to COVID-19 would also be available at media centre.
Dr Karki shared that any information about the activities related to COVID-19 carried out by the ministry would be disseminated through Facebook and Twitter. The ministry would also develop a separate website and mobile app to provide information on coronavirus.
