Kathmandu, March 25: The Ministry of Health and Population has sent various sorts of medical items including personal protective equipment (PPE) to different hospitals.
Health Minister's advisor Dr. Khem Karki informed that 227 thousand medical items were sent to the hospitals.
Among these, there are 222,000 masks; 267 PPEs; 483 gowns; 209 sanitizers; 236 gloves; 601 N-95 masks; 58 IR thermometers; 285 PPE ground; 467 shoe covers etc.
Similarly, among the total purchased medical items, over 200 thousand are kept in stock.
The stocked medical items as face masks, gowns, PPE, sanitizers, gloves, N-95 masks, face shields would be gradually sent to hospitals as per the need, Dr Karki informed.
