Sample collection of returnees in Bhaktapur begins, 146 under surveillance   

Municipalities of Bhaktapur district have started collecting samples of the people returned from abroad countries for the test of coronavirus infection. Sample collection has begun after identification of 146 returnees in Bhaktapur, Madhyapurthimi, Changunarayan and Suryabinayak municipalities.

Contact tracing of returnees going on in full swing: MoHP

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) Monday said that the test of some individuals who had come into contact with the COVID-19 infected people had come negative. Speaking at a regular media briefing on Monday, spokesperson at the MoHP Dr Bikash Devkota said, “Those relatives and friends of the four virus-infected persons, who contacted us were tested and all were found negative.”

Security bodies team up to battle COVID-19

“One mission, one goal and that is to defeat the coronavirus pandemic although we have different working natures in the field,” security officials said Monday.
