Bhadrapur, March 24 : As nationwide lockdown is in force, more than 100 Nepalis coming home from India have been stranded in eastern border of Panitanki from early morning today.
They are awaiting approval from the officials to enter Nepal.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at Area Police Office, Kakadbhitta Rajendra Pokharel said that Indian police officials have informed the Nepali side that more than 100 Nepalis are staying in the Indian territory expecting to go home.
Pokharel added that there was no order issued to let anyone enter into Nepal from the border point.
On Monday, a total of 731 Nepalis had come home from India while Nepali officials issued approval to 2,236 Indians to go to India through the border point.
