Proposal to hold wc qualifying games after four months   

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has proposed to the World Football Federation (FIFA) to hold the FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 qualifying games after four months. The games that Nepal is scheduled to play have been proposed to be held in coming October and November.    

Urge to not handover community schools to private  

The Federation of Community School Management Committees has demanded that the responsibility of improving the quality of community schools not be given to the private institutions. The provision to give the private schools the responsibility of improving the community schools is against the norms and values of the Constitution.

Treatment service for COVID-19 cases begins from isolation ward in Dhangadhi

The District Health Office, Kailali handed over the isolation ward to Seti State Hospital. It was constructed from the budget provided by the Sudurpaschim State government. The isolation ward was constructed at the cost of Rs 9.4 million.

Repair of Kathmandu Valley's roads almost complete amidst lockdown

Out of the target of repairing 41 kilometres in the fiscal year of 2019/20, overlaying of more than 40 kilometres has been carried out, the division road office said adding that repair of remaining parts would be complete soon. Road maintenance has been put on top priority, said the division office chief Kuber Nepali.
