Himani Trust hands over medical goods to Dhangadhi sub-metropolis

The Himani Trust Kathmandu has provided various medical goods to the Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City. Trust members Tej Bahadur Singh and Tapa Raj Joshi handed over the goods to the sub-metropolis mayor Nripa Bahadur Od on Sunday. The Trust is run by former Crown Princess Himani Shah.    

Economic activities should be forwarded along with coronavirus: FM Khatiwada

Minister Khatiwada said, “Share market could have been affected following weak market and production in some situation .But, it is only for short-term. We can win battle against corona virus. So, economic activities should be forwarded by fighting against coronavirus,” Minister Khatiwada said addressing the anniversary of Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) through audio visual medium on Sunday.

Five held again after PCR test results positive   

Police have taken under control five persons from Matihani Municipality of Mahottari after their PCR tests resulted positive. They were earlier released from local quarantines.         

  NC shows concern over tax on electric vehicles  

Main opposition Nepali Congress has shown severe concern over the tax imposed on the electric vehicles by the upcoming budget. It has demanded to cancel the tax. During the meeting of the House of Representatives today, NC lawmaker Devendra Raj Kandel commented that the tax imposed as high as 113 percent was regressive.
