Govt to manage free of cost health services to all: Health Minister

Minister for Health and Population Sher Bahadur Tamang has said that he was effortful to ensure free of cost health services to the public. In a virtual press meet at the Ministry today, Minister Tamang said the health insurance policy will be restructured to manage free of cost health services to all.

AstraZeneca vaccine to be provided as alternative to Covishield

According to Director of Family Welfare Division, Department of Health Services, Dr Taranath Pokhrel when the import of Covishield vaccine is presently not possible, AstraZeneca will be given to the recipients of the first dose of Covishield as both vaccines were developed by the same company being based on the same formula and methodology and it would make no difference in giving the AstraZeneca as an alternative to the Covishield.

Man killed in crocodile attack

A 35-year-old man was killed when a crocodile attacked him at the Dhrubaghat area of Chitwan National Park. The deceased is identified as Chhannuram Bote of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-25 in the district.
