Kanchanpur, June 7: Eighty-five thousand doses of anti-COVID-19 vaccine imported from China have arrived here.
The Sudurpashmin Province Medical Supplies Management Centre has handed over the vaccine to all nine districts of the province.
Centre's official Rajendra Awasthi said the vaccines would be administered to people of 60 to 64 years of age in the first phase. The vaccine brought here from the centre has been distributed to the districts for its rollout.
According to Awasthi, the Kailali Health Office has been given 13 thousand 610 doses, Kanchanpur has been provided with seven thousand 570, Achham has been allocated four thousand 102, Doti district has been given three thousand 20 doses, Dadeldhura district has been handed 258 doses, Baitadi district three thousand 780 doses, Darchula district three thousand 243 doses, Bajahnag has been provided three thousand 168 doses and Bajura Health Office has been given four thousand 442 doses of the vaccine.
