Kathmandu, June 7: Nepal Airlines Corporation, the national flag carrier, has reduced international airfare following a slash in aviation fuel for international flights.
Airfares of cargo and chartered international flights have been reduced beginning Sunday midnight (12 am) following a decrease in aviation fuel for international flights, said the NAC’s spokesperson Karishma Shrestha.
Airfares for wide-body planes (Airbus 330) and narrow-body aircraft (Airbus 320) have been slashed by 13 per cent and 15 per cent respectively as compared to previous fares.
As per the adjusted pricelist, airfares of chartered and cargo flights (wide-body) have been set at USD 13,460 per hour against USD 15,520 earlier.
Likewise, airfares for narrow-body aircraft have been adjusted at USD 6,580 per hour against USD 7,710 earlier.
