Man killed after being run over by excavator   

A man was killed after being run over by an excavator at Pele in Baitadi district today.     Shukra Singh Pujara, 55, of Melauli municipality-5, who was onboard the vehicle, fell to death from the running vehicle (SK 220 KD), said the police. The excavator was heading to Pele to dig the land for the construction of a house after digging Lamalake-Dhadaun road.

The action has imparted a strong message that the criminal cannot go scot free no matter where s/he hides.     Police have been successful in nabbing murder-accused Leelaraj Gautam, 42, of Jhapa Bhadrapur municipality-9, who has been absconding after the murder case.
