Two Indian pickpockets nabbed

Police have arrested two Indian women for allegedly picking pocket in a crowded bus.

Puja Gultha and Kabita Mandal were arrested while they were running away after stealing Rs. 100,000 from Bimala Roka Sarki’s bag. Roka, 40, was travelling from Charali to Kakadbhitta by a bus.

“Gultha and Mandal were going towards the border through a tempo,” said Mahendra Shrestha, spokesperson, District Police Office, Jhapa. “We arrested them along with the stolen money.”

Shrestha said that investigation was going into the incident by taking the two women in the Police Office, Dhulabari.
