326 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Kathmandu Valley

In 9,218 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the last 24 hours, as many as  326 persons, 115 females and 211 males, were found with the novel coronavirus infection in the Valley itself, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.

     Gandaki registers 76 more COVID-19 cases today

Getting citizenship hard for street children

Article 11(4) of the Constitution has a provision that allows children whose parents are unknown to obtain citizenship by descent only if they can produce proof that the whereabouts of their parents are unknown. 2,161 police personnel infected with COVID-19

COVID-19 infection rate among the security personnel of Nepal Police is increasing every day. As of Sunday, 2,161 personnel of Nepal Police were found infected with the coronavirus. Bir Hospital is now designated for COVID-19 treatment

Dr Gautam added that the regular health care services delivered from the Bir Hospital would be provided from the National Trauma Centre. With the latest move of the government, even the patients of the Bir Hospital would be shifted to the National Trauma Centre.
