Kathmandu Valley records whopping 696 cases of COVID-19, highest in a single day

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Friday confirmed 696 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley. This is the highest single-day spike in COVID-19 tally recorded by the Valley in a single day. In 10,701 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the last 24 hours, as many as 696 persons, 228 females and 468 males, were found with the virus infection in the Kathmandu Valley, read the daily update revealed by the ministry on Friday.
