Schools collecting details of students to conduct stalled grade 12 exams

The National Examination Board (NEB) is likely to conduct the examinations of grade 12 by arranging exam centres in the home towns for the students who have been to their villages before the enforcement of the nationwide lockdown on March 24. Kathmandu Valley records 597 new cases of COVID-19

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Sunday confirmed 597 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley. "In 9,165  Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the last 24 hours, as many as 597 persons, 216 females and 381 males, were found with the novel coronavirus infection in the Valley itself," revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.

A woman had died after she was buried in her home by landslide early this morning. Three houses were buried in the landslide at Kushmishera of ward no. 1 in Jamaini municipality.

The bodies of three people buried in the landslide that took place in Nagpuje in Ghumthang in ward no. 7 of Barhabise municipality last night have been found. The deceased have been identified as Bhaktimaya Shrestha,70, Junu Maya BK,24, and Sarkini Pradhan,40, according to DSP at the District Police Office Prakash Sapkota.
