COVID-19 case count surges to 15,259 with 740 new cases

As many as 740 persons were identified with the virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.

NCP puts off standing committee meet to ease intra-party feud

The sixth meeting of the Standing Committee of the ruling Nepal Communist party (NCP) on Thursday began later than the stipulated time, convened for a short time and finally was postponed till July 4. The meeting previously scheduled for 11:00 am was delayed as party co-chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli left Baluwatar to hold a meeting with President Bidya Devi Bhandari. The meeting was put off shortly after two SC members expressed their views on the agendas tabled in the 4th SC meeting.

Govt reopens labour approval for workers on vacation

Govt launches new rotavirus vaccine
