Sixteen quake-damaged government offices rebuilt so far in Lalitpur   

Sixteen government offices damaged by the Gorkha earthquake on April 25 and a major aftershock on May 12, 2015 have been rebuilt so far in Lalitpur district.     The District Project Implementation Unit (Building) under the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA)'s Central Project Implementation Unit (Building) was given the responsibility of reconstructing 21 of the government office buildings damaged due to the earthquake.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan Committee of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has assigned mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Bidya Sundar Shakya the NCP metropolitan parliamentary party leader.

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has decided to take disciplinary action against players of Machhindra F.C. and Manang Marshyangdi Club after they resorted to fighting in a playground.    

Ronaldo elephant with tracking radio collar   

Tracking radio collar has been installed on the bodily part of Ronaldo elephant which has been rampaging local human settlement in Chitwan.     The tusker of Chitwan National Park was taken under control and its pointed teeth removed before installing satellite radio collar on its body.    

'No discrimination between community and private schools'   

State-1 governor Somnath Adhikari 'Pyasi' has said the government has not made any discrimination in education sector in the name of community and private schools.     He said this in his address to an interaction 'Contributions, opportunities, challenges and potentials of private schools' organized at Birtamodh, Jhapa on the occasion of the 29th establishment day of PABSON Jhapa.    

Two industrial villages in the making  

Industrial villages are to be developed in two local governments for the promotion of entrepreneurship through the use of local resource, skills and technology.     Baglung municipality and Tarakhola rural municipality have come up with the concept of developing industrial village in line with the national goal of 'One local level, one industrial village'.
