Chitwan, Jan 10 : Tracking radio collar has been installed on the bodily part of Ronaldo elephant which has been rampaging local human settlement in Chitwan.
The tusker of Chitwan National Park was taken under control and its pointed teeth removed before installing satellite radio collar on its body.
Doctors and technicians from Chitwan National Park and National Trust for Nature Conservation installed radio collar on tuskers, shared CNP information officer Gopal Ghimire.
The tusker, namely Ronaldo, has been posing threat to people in wards 27 and 28 for the past two weeks.
In view of the alarming situation, the task of installing radio collar has been done to track the mobility and activity of the rampaging elephant.
